SSB brand products are currently offered up to 20" bore. Precision grades in ABEC 1 and ABEC 3 are currently offered. Our materials are procured in the USA. SSB brand products are DFARS compliant with certifications for all components kept on file.
Ring materials available for production include: 52100 chrome steel, 440-C stainless steel, XD15NW Stainless, M-50 tool steel and 300 series stainless steel.
Thin bearings can be produced in both inch and metric dimensions. We can offer you solutions based on our wide range of application experience.
Slim Section Bearings, Inc. refurbishes bearings to give the customer exceptional cost savings when needed. Inspection services are offered on both thin section bearings and slewing ring style bearings. Once bearings are received, inspection can be completed normally in 7-10 business days. Free inspection of any manufacturers' bearings is offered. Detailed inspection reports can be presented to the customer, listing causes of failure and recommended bearing or application changes. The re-manufacturing process typically ranges from 6-8 weeks after customer approval. Re-manufactured product is warranted to be free from material defects for a one year period after shipment.
